Richard Walter, founder of Madrid Bagel Shop, was born and raised in metropolitan New York. Growing up, bagels were a big part of his life and something that Ricci absolutely loved! When it was time to go to college, Ricci moved to northern Vermont, only a short drive to the Canadian Bagel Mecca of Montreal.
